Re: crockpot

I tried something the other day which we just loved. I put 4 cups of
water in the crockpot, added 2 cups of oatmeal, some soy milk powder,
1/2 cup of brown sugar, a little salt, an apple cut up and about a half
cup of raisins, and about a teaspoon of cinnamon. Turned it on low and
let it cook all night. It was delicious, and we are not really oatmeal
eaters.

It was good enough to make me want to experiment a bit more with crock
pot grains, especially for breakfast. Part of what was so nice was
having a hot breakfast all ready to eat when we got up.
