fast grains in a thermos

WOW!  What a brilliant idea!  I've never heard of that concept before, but
I can't wait to try it.

So far, I have used barley and it turned out just fine.

1. Preheat thermos with boiling water.
2. Add 1/4 c. of dry barley
3. Add some broth powder (1/8 tsp.)
4. Add 3/4 c. boiling water

Shake vigorously.  I shook it a couple of times just for good measure over
the next 4 hours.
 I used an Aladdin wide mouth thermos that I've had for a few years. It
looks
the same as the one at www.getgealthyshop.com , except that mine doesn't
have
the cute advertisement sticker on the side.<<
