To the person who likes Amaretto-flavored creamers (I love those flavored
things too, but don't want the hydrogenated oils), Torani syrups come in a
variety of flavors--amaretto, vanilla, hazelnut, all kinds of fruity
stuff--and are perfect for adding to coffee. Several coffee houses here
offer a "flavor shot" of Torani for about a quarter. I've found these
syrups (and similar products under other brand names) at Cost Plus Imports
and various markets (Cost Plus has Torani, the markets carry other
brands). Very sweet so you may want to taste before adding your usual
sweetener.
