I seem to have Italian Gelato made by Western Classics (sold at Save-On
Foods in Canada). It sounds like your description of Italian Ice since it
is similar to sorbet. Maybe they have mislabeled it. Either way, it does
not contain dairy products nor eggs and it claims to be fat free.
