You're so lucky!
I make marvelous breads out of mixes, but if I even LOOK at bread in a
machine, it "bricks."  Yes, I've proofed the yeast.
I've never tried a mix in the bread machine, because I think it would really
screw up the machine:  Between trying to mess with me and make a good mix?
It'd short-circuit.

I finally gave my bread machine away.

If you mean the packaged bread mixes, yeah - they always make bricks in no
matter which ABM I tried them. I think there's too much sugar or the riser
(yeast or baking powder/soda) is flat.

With fresh ingredients I *rarely* get a brick and never in the past year
using decent recipes.
